June garden

Oh how the garden grows in June...

...right before it dies in July.

Just kidding. (Hopefully).

Even though it was super late this year, I had a great spring crop. So I feel hopeful about this summer's harvest. Things are hanging in there and dare I say, even thriving.

I picked a few green beans so far and I finally have blooms on my squash plants, green tomato on the vines, baby peppers, teenage onions (you know, the phase between green onions and onion-onions), and brand new sweet potato starts, which replace my recently pulled out lettuce.

So far so good. We'll see what the next few weeks bring.
