Illinois family time

After Kans fam time, we packed up into my my parents compact vehicle and headed to Illinois to see my brother and his family and to attend our cousin, Melissa's wedding.

Kai so appropriately summed up what it was like to travel all that way.

Oh well. We made it. And I got to see Mel get married, I got to send some quality time with my niece and nephew at Eli's Coffee Shop, hold the twins, and see my Illinois friend, Kari, and her new baby. That makes the whole crazy weekend worth it.
