Mom and Dad come to the prairie
The end of September/beginning of October was the busiest we've ever been. (That is clearly not true but after months and months of doing nothing (see pandemic), it felt like it the busiest ever).
A week after Levent and I got back from Colorado, Mom and Dad flew out here to spend a few days with us. As per usual, they were busy bees when they were out here, (especially since Levent and I have no idea how to hang up things on old plaster walls). But we also made time for some fun too.
Highlights included:
1. Doing physical therapy and walks with Mom (and Tito)
2. Dad building all the things
The new shelving unit in the living room. I am still thinking about how to best style it. |
New kitchen shelves |
3. Yummy food, of course
Heidi and Hayden came over for supper on Monday evening; so of course we had to grill kebabs. |
The theme of our weekend was "infused water." |
4. Our second annual visit to Botanica in Wichita
Thanks for coming, Mom and Dad!
